The service
MetricMartian provides directional software-delivery economics from authorized GitHub evidence, founder-entered cost context, and versioned AI-assisted baselines. Mission Briefs, grades, ranges, narratives, and other outputs are estimates and decision-support material—not timekeeping records, professional advice, guarantees, or statements of a person's value.
Accounts and organizations
Users must provide accurate account information, protect access methods, and use the service only for organizations and repositories they are authorized to connect. Organization owners are responsible for user access, repository selection, engineer attribution, cost inputs, and lawful notices to affected people.
Responsible-use boundary
MetricMartian may be used to identify questions and compare delivery-economic patterns. It must not be used as the sole basis for hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, compensation, or another employment decision. Users must consider missing repository context, collaboration, accessibility needs, protected activity, applicable employment and privacy law, and meaningful human review.
Users may not use MetricMartian for covert surveillance, unlawful discrimination, harassment, automated employment decisions without required safeguards, credential abuse, security testing without permission, or attempts to extract another customer's data.
Authorized data and customer responsibility
Customers retain responsibility for the data and provider access they authorize. They must have the rights needed to submit repository evidence and cost context. Customer content will not be promoted into a global reference library without explicit written consent.
Trial, plans, and billing
The current private-beta packaging hypothesis is a 14-day trial with no card required, Solo at $79 per month for up to two active engineers, and Team at $199 per month for up to five. This is research—not a public offer, a commitment to charge, or proven willingness to pay. Billing is currently in test mode and no real payment is collected. Pricing, renewal, taxes, cancellation, refunds, price-change notice, and payment-processing terms require final founder and legal approval before live payments.
Availability, changes, and AI limitations
The service may change, experience interruptions, or produce incomplete or incorrect output. AI-assisted baselines and classifications can be wrong. MetricMartian will version material methodology changes and preserve relevant provenance, but final warranty, liability, indemnity, dispute, governing-law, and service-level terms must be drafted by counsel.
Suspension, cancellation, and deletion
Accounts may be suspended for security risk, abuse, or unlawful use. Organization owners can initiate a confirmed server-side deletion workflow that removes attributable product data and provider links subject to documented legal retention requirements. Cancellation, retention exceptions, response timing, and notice language remain subject to final founder and legal approval.
